High performance TFR with wax

High performance TFR with wax is a concentrated traffic film remover (TFR) for cars, vans, trucks and motorcycles. It’s a strongly alkaline detergent at pH 13.02, so it breaks the oily road film a shampoo wash leaves behind, along with dried residues on screens, fairings and lights. Dilute it 1:5 in a bucket of warm water. It’s a wash chemical, not a disinfectant.

Features and benefits

• Alkaline at pH 13.02. Road film is acidic and oily, so the alkalinity breaks the binder and the surfactants rinse it away.
• Dilutes 1:5. A 5L can makes 30L of wash solution, and it’s the same rate for every vehicle on the bay.
• Non-flammable, flash point above 250 °C. No flammables cabinet needed. Store it sealed in a well-ventilated area, away from oxidising agents.
• Whole-vehicle wash. Screens, fairings and lights in the same pass, so you aren’t switching products mid-wash.
• Pictogram and signal word on every size. The container tells you what you’re handling, 1L to 1000L.

Directions for use

If needed, carefully dispense liquid into a small container suitable for intended application.

1. Pour 5 parts water and 1 part product into a bucket of warm water.
2. Wash entire vehicle, but do not allow to dry.
3. Rinse off with plenty of clean water.

That’s the only rate for this product. It isn’t rated for neat use, and there’s no lance or pressure-washer rate for it, so treat it as a bucket wash. Test an inconspicuous area first, especially on polished or anodised metal, wraps and matt finishes.

Safety and ingredients

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection. Keep it away from oxidising agents in storage.

Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation. Contact with eyes and skin should be avoided. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Wash with plenty of water. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Do not use for medical or hygiene purposes. Do not mix with any other preparations. Do not ingest. If product is ingested, then seek medical advice. Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to use and only proceed when satisfied with the results. Rinse hands after use.
