Traffic Film Remover

Traffic film remover (TFR) concentrate for cars, vans, HGVs, trailers and farm machinery. Diluted into warm water, it foams up to lift the greasy road film off the bodywork, then rinses off with clean water. It works hot or cold and in hard water, so you don’t need a hot wash bay to get a result.

Features and benefits

• Rich foam. It expands into crevices, so you agitate and rinse the dirt out rather than chase it.
• Works hot or cold. No hot wash needed, which matters on a farm yard or an unheated transport park.
• Copes with hard water. The phosphate builder ties up calcium and magnesium, so the surfactant isn’t wasted forming scum.
• Hand wash or pressure washer. One concentrate covers a bucket-and-brush wash and a lance.
• Not classified as corrosive. It carries GHS07 and the signal word WARNING, not the corrosive pictogram. Contact with eyes and skin should still be avoided.

Directions for use

1. Pour 5 parts water and 1 part product into a bucket of warm water.
2. Wash entire vehicle, but do not allow to dry.
3. Rinse off with plenty of clean water.

There’s one mix, no light or heavy tier to weigh up. Test on an inconspicuous area first and only carry on once you’re satisfied.

This is a bodywork wash. Brake dust wants a wheel cleaner, and bonded deposits want a bug, glue and tar remover. It leaves no wax or protection behind, so follow with wax or paint protection if the vehicle needs it.
