Fleet Clean

Fleet Clean is a multi-purpose fleet cleaning chemical for buses, trains, coaches, cars and other vehicles, and it’s built to handle the inside as well as the outside. It’s a water-based alkaline concentrate: run it neat on heavy soiling, or dilute anywhere from 1:10 to 1:100. Interiors are the job it leads on, with periodic exterior washing alongside. Don’t use it for medical or hygiene purposes.

Features and benefits

• Cabin and bodywork from one product. Hard surfaces, upholstery and carpet inside, panels outside, so you’re not stocking two chemicals per vehicle.
• Neat, or down to 1:100. You set the strength against the soiling rather than buying two grades of product.
• Goes through the kit you already run. Manual, pressure washer or automated wash system, applied by sprayer, foam lance or brush.
• One to two minutes of dwell on exteriors. Short contact time, so a coach doesn’t tie the bay up while it sits.
• 1L up to a 210L drum. Every size is buyable online from £7.50, with no enquiry form in front of the drum.
• Not a disinfectant. There’s no kill claim on it and none is intended. If you need a sanitiser for cabin touch points, this isn’t the product.

Directions for use

Always test on a small inconspicuous area and only proceed when satisfied with the results. Suitable for manual, pressure washers, or automated wash systems.

Exterior cleaning

1. Pre-rinse to remove loose dirt.
2. Apply via sprayer, foam lance, or brush.
3. Let sit briefly (1–2 mins), don’t allow to dry.
4. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Dry with a cloth or air blade for a streak-free finish.

Interior cleaning

1. Apply diluted solution to hard surfaces with a damp cloth or sprayer.
2. For upholstery/carpet, lightly spray, agitate, then wipe or extract.

There’s one band for both interior and exterior work, and no separate interior rate. Neat is for heavy exterior soiling, and interior work uses the diluted solution. Do not mix with any other preparations.

Safety and ingredients

Signal word WARNING, GHS07 pictogram. H315 causes skin irritation. H319 causes serious eye irritation. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection. Wash all exposed external body areas thoroughly after handling.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice.
