Heavy duty cleaner and degreaser

This heavy duty degreaser is built for tough grease, grime and heavy soiling on vehicles. It’s Emchem’s own mix, blended for a North Wales family firm rather than factored in. It works the way a wash-bay chemical should: spray the surface, give it a few seconds, then wipe off with a warm, damp cloth. It’s a cleaner, not a disinfectant, and it isn’t for medical or hygiene purposes.

Features and benefits

• Breaks down and lifts stubborn grease. It clears the surface without leaving a residue, so you’re not chasing smears round the panel after the wipe.
• A few seconds of dwell on normal soiling. Tough, stubborn deposits take longer and a repeat application, but don’t let it dry on the surface.
• Alkaline chemistry. It shifts the fatty and oily soils a neutral wash chemical leaves behind. It’s strong, so test an inconspicuous area before you commit to a panel.
• Classified irritant, not corrosive. It’s not flammable either, and it carries no Substances of Very High Concern. Gloves, eye protection and covered arms still go on every time.
• 1L up to a 1000L IBC. The same chemistry scales for a single van or a whole depot. The 1L and 5L are buyable online. The 25L and the IBC are quoted, so email Emma for those.
• It’s a degreaser, not a TFR and not a disinfectant. There’s no kill claim on it and none is intended. For traffic film across a full fleet wash you want a TFR instead.

Directions for use

1. If needed, carefully dispense liquid into a smaller container suitable for your intended application.
2. Spray the surface of the vehicle with the heavy-duty degreaser and allow it to work for a few seconds before wiping it off with a warm, damp cloth.
3. Tough, stubborn soiling may require a longer dwell time (do not allow to dry) and repeat application.

Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to use and only proceed when satisfied with the results. Do not mix with any other preparations.
