Description
The jumbo sponge is a large foam wash sponge for hand-washing cars, vans and caravans. Size is the point: it carries enough car shampoo solution to work a long panel between dips. It’s sold singly at £3.50, not a trade pack.
Features and benefits
- Waisted bone shape. The narrow centre is where your hand closes, so it’s easier to hold when it’s soapy.
- Jumbo format, around 22cm long. More solution per dip, so a long panel takes fewer stops at the shampoo bucket.
- Multi-surface. Bodywork, caravans, boats, flooring and hard surfaces, so one sponge does the yard and the house.
- The honest limit. Foam holds grit at its face instead of lifting it away. Run two buckets with a car wash grid, rinse in the clean one between sections, and keep noodle wash mitts for finish-critical paintwork.
- Not a scourer. It washes, it doesn’t scrub. And once it’s touched the wheels or the ground, it stays off paintwork.
