Car wash grid for removing dirty from the water bucket

A grit guard, or car wash grid, for the base of your wash bucket. The one-piece moulded plastic grid sits flat below the water line, so grit rinsed out of the mitt drops through and settles underneath instead of stirring back up.

Specification

Grit guards vary in diameter across the trade, so measure the inside of your bucket base before ordering. Tapered buckets are the awkward case: if the base is much narrower than the mouth, the guard can wedge above the base instead of sitting on it. Not sure it’ll suit your bucket?
