Duster

This yellow duster is for dust and light wiping. The open weave lifts loose dust off desks, worktops and laminate and holds it.

Features and benefits

• Sold singly at £0.75. Buy the one cloth you need, not the pack of ten the trade usually sells.
• Washable and reusable. Holds dust dry, wipes damp, and washes out, so it isn’t a cost per wipe. Wash it separately: the dye and lint transfer, and microfibre collects what a woven cloth sheds.
• Not for glass. A woven duster tends to leave lint on glass, so use Blue Weave Microfibre for glass at £1.40 for windows and mirrors.
• Not a rag. For solvents and heavy oil, use a disposable rag rather than a cloth you plan to wash.
• Yellow by tradition, not colour-coded. It’s the traditional yellow duster, not part of a colour-coded set. For microfibre, Robert Scott cloths are £6.50 for 10.
