A stiff twisted-wire brush for the part of an alloy wheel a wash mitt can’t reach. The Ø65mm head passes between spokes, and its chemical-resistant polyester filaments splay against their sides and backs to shear off bonded brake dust. Vikan rates it for cleaning chemicals from pH 3 to pH 11 at up to 100°C. Check the wheel cleaner you’re using sits in that window.
Features and benefits
- Ø65mm head, 325mm long. Slim enough for spoke gaps, and long enough to reach the barrel edge behind them.
- Hard polyester filaments. The stiff, thicker filament gives the mechanical shear that lifts the brake dust chemical dwell alone leaves behind.
- Zinc-coated wire core and nylon-protected handle. The wire resists corrosion through repeated wet use, and the nylon covers the wire termination at the grip end.
- Hard grade, so match it to the finish. It’s built for spokes and barrels, not for sweeping the wheel face, and Vikan makes no scratch-free claim.
