Toilet disinfectant

Toilet disinfectant for the washrooms that get used all day, and for the one at home. It’s a ready-to-use quaternary ammonium liquid that goes into the bowl neat: leave it to dwell, scrub and rinse. No dilution rate to get wrong, no dosing kit to buy. It’s pH neutral at 7.0, so it isn’t an acid bowl cleaner and it won’t shift limescale.

Features and benefits

• Ready to use. No dosing cap, no measuring jug. Straight from the bottle into the bowl.
• pH 7.0 as supplied. It works by biocidal and surfactant action, not by acid or alkali attack.
• Benzalkonium chloride at 0.95% w/w. A quaternary ammonium active, named and quantified for your COSHH file.
• Pine scented. The cubicle smells clean after the rinse. The perfume does no disinfecting itself.
• What it won’t do. No acid in it, so it’s no descaler. It isn’t a bleach either, and it must never be mixed with one.

Directions for use

1. Apply on to the area to be treated
2. Leave to dwell for a few minutes
3. Scrub with a toilet brush
4. Rinse with water

Don’t dilute it, and don’t mix it with anything else in the bowl, bleach and acid descalers included. No numeric contact time is published, so give it a few minutes before you scrub.

• P332+P313 If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
• P362+P364 Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.

CAUTION:
Contact with eyes and skin should be avoided. Use gloves and eye protection. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially indoors. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Wash with plenty of water. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Do not use for medical or hygiene purposes. Do not mix with any other preparations. Do not ingest. If product is ingested, then seek medical advice. Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to use and only proceed when satisfied with the results. Rinse hands after use.
