Kitchen sanitiser

Kitchen sanitiser is Emchem’s own-blend quaternary ammonium sanitiser for hard surfaces in commercial kitchens, canteens and back-of-house areas. Apply it as supplied, leave it 30 seconds, then wipe off with a clean cloth. It’s neutral at pH 7.0 rather than alkaline, which counts on surfaces wiped down several times a shift.

Features and benefits

• Neutral pH 7.0. Much of this category is alkaline. Neutral suits repeat use across mixed kitchen surfaces, though test an inconspicuous area first.
• 30-second dwell. Apply, wait, wipe. It fits between tasks rather than taking a surface out of use.
• Benzalkonium chloride at 0.95% w/w. A quat sanitiser at a stated strength, so you know what you’re buying.
• Non-combustible. It isn’t considered a significant fire risk, though containers may burn and can emit corrosive fumes.
• 1L and 5L. The 5L works out at £1.80 a litre against £3.99 for the 1L.

Directions for use

1. Apply onto the area to be cleaned.
2. Leave to dwell for 30 seconds.
3. Wipe away all residues with a clean cloth

Apply as supplied. There’s no dilution rate for this one. Keep containers securely sealed when not in use, and work in a well-ventilated area.

If product is ingested, then seek medical advice. Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to use and only proceed when satisfied with the results. Rinse hands after use.
