Powerwash pro

Powerwash Pro is a heavy duty vehicle and plant wash concentrate built on traffic film remover (TFR) chemistry. At pH 13.02 it’s strongly alkaline, and that’s what breaks oily road film and greasy soil down so a high-pressure rinse carries it off. Dilute 1:10 for general exterior and interior cleaning, or take it to 1:1 or neat where the contamination is heavy.

Features and benefits

• Three application routes from one container. 1:10 for general exterior and interior work, 1:1 or neat for heavy contamination. One concentrate covers both ends of the job.
• pH 13.02. Strong alkalinity, which is what shifts traffic film, oil and grease in one pass.
• Non-flammable, flash point above 250 °C. It doesn’t ignite and doesn’t decompose. Store it sealed and away from oxidising agents.
• Miscible with water in all proportions. It goes into solution cleanly at 1:10.
• 1L up to a 210L drum. One van or a full fleet wash bay, it’s the same chemistry in every size. The 25L and 210L are quote only.

Directions for use

Before you start: pre-test interior fabrics for colour fastness.

Exterior.

1. Make up your dilution at 1:10 for general exterior work.
2. Apply evenly to the vehicle, starting from the bottom up.
3. Don’t let the product dry on the surface.
4. Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water.

Interior.

1. Mix at 1:10 in a separate container.
2. Apply with a hand sprayer.
3. Agitate with a soft sponge or interior brush.
4. Wipe off with a damp, clean cotton cloth.

Heavy contaminant removal.

1. Mix 1 part chemical to 1 part water, or use neat.
2. Apply liberally with a low-pressure sprayer or a compatible pressure washer.
3. Allow up to 5 minutes for the solution to work and don’t let it dry.
4. Rinse with high-pressure hot water.

This isn’t a maintenance shampoo. It’s a caustic alkaline concentrate for traffic film, oil, grease and road soil. The drying instruction matters: an alkaline film left to dry concentrates as the water evaporates and will etch or stain. For the weekly wash on a car that’s already clean, a vehicle shampoo is the better call.

Safety and ingredients

Classified under GB CLP as skin irritant category 2 and serious eye irritant category 2. Signal word WARNING, GHS07 pictogram. H315 Causes skin irritation. H319 Causes serious eye irritation.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection (P280). Wash all exposed external body areas thoroughly after handling (P264).

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.

CAUTION:
Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation. Contact with eyes and skin should be avoided. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Wash with plenty of water. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Do not use for medical or hygiene purposes. Do not mix with any other preparations. Do not ingest. If product is ingested, then seek medical advice. Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to use and only proceed when satisfied with the results. Rinse hands after use.
