Insect remover for vehicle exteriors, sold from 1L up to a 1000L IBC. It’s for valeters and fleet wash bays dealing with dried insect splatter on the front end. Spray it on and the deposit softens, so you wipe rather than scrub at paintwork. It clears what’s already on the vehicle. It isn’t an insecticide.
Features and benefits
- 30 seconds of dwell. A stated contact time, so you know when to come back to the panel.
- Tree sap and wax as well as insects. One product covers both jobs on the same round.
- Softens the deposit chemically. That takes away the need for abrasives, which can damage paintwork.
- Not flammable. Non-combustible, which matters when you’re holding 25L or an IBC in a workshop.

Directions for use
If needed, carefully dispense liquid into a smaller container suitable for your intended application. No sprayer is supplied, so you’ll need your own trigger bottle. An IK hand trigger spray bottle suits.
- Spray onto the area to be treated
- Leave to dwell for 30 seconds
- Agitate with a soft cloth if necessary
- Rinse with fresh water
- Repeat if necessary
Test on an inconspicuous area first and only carry on when you’re happy with the result. We’ve no data on bare aluminium, alloy wheels, matt wraps, paint protection film, fresh paint or anodised trim, so take care there. Don’t apply it to hot panels or in direct sun.
Safety and ingredients
This isn’t a biocidal product. It lifts dried insect residue off a surface, and no kill, repellent or disinfectant claim is made for it. GB-CLP classifies the mixture non hazardous.
CAUTION: Contact with eyes and skin should be avoided. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Wash with plenty of water. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Do not use for medical or hygiene purposes. Do not mix with any other preparations. Do not ingest. If product is ingested, then seek medical advice. Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to use and only proceed when satisfied with the results. Rinse hands after use.
