The SIP Tempest PW540/155 is a wall mounted electric cold water pressure washer for light commercial work: wash bays, workshops and yards. A 2400W brushless induction motor drives a Comet brass-headed axial plunger pump to 150 bar at 510 litres an hour. It doesn’t have to stay on the wall: press the release and it lifts off to work on the floor.
Features and benefits
- Wall mounted or portable. Both inlet kits are in the box, so you swap the fitting over. Floor use also needs a collar clip and a 19mm ID supply hose, neither supplied.
- 22kg, and no wheels as standard. Portable means carrying it by the handle, unless you add the optional wheel kit.
- 20m hose on an integrated reel. Reach across a wash bay without moving the machine.
- Comet brass-headed axial plunger pump. Serviceable, with scheduled pump oil changes rather than sealed for life.
- Total Stop, plus three safety devices. Thermal cut-out, a factory-set pressure restriction valve and a gun lever lock.
- No turbo lance on this model. Jet shape is set at the adjustable nozzle head, between a wide fan and a pencil jet.
- Cold water, mains fed only. Priming depth is 0m, so it won’t pull from a water butt or tank.

Never direct the jet at people, animals, electrical equipment or the machine itself. Check the power cable, high pressure hose, connectors, gun and lance before every use, and don’t run it if any of them is damaged.
