Screenwash

Screenwash concentrate for the washer reservoir, sold as one product from 1L up to 1000L. Dilute it 1:5 with water to make up windscreen washer fluid, or put it in neat over winter for freeze resistance. It’s neutral at pH 7 and isn’t classified as flammable, with a flash point above 60°C. Washers that can’t provide enough fluid to clear the screen are a Major MOT defect (DVSA, 2026), so it’s a screen wash worth keeping on the shelf.

Features and benefits

• Dilutes 1:5, or goes in neat. One part product to five parts water for normal use. Run it undiluted through the cold months for freeze resistance.
• Neutral pH 7. Nothing acidic or caustic going into the system.
• Not classified as flammable. Flash point above 60°C, which matters for a fluid that sits in a hot engine bay.
• Miscible with water. It mixes in at 1:5 without stirring, so there’s no agitation step before it goes in the reservoir.
• Made up in the washer bottle. It goes into the reservoir on the vehicle and the wipers spread it across the screen. To clean the inside of the glass by hand, use Crystal Clear glass cleaner.

Directions for use

1. Use 1 part product and 5 parts water and add to the washer reservoir.

Note: Use neat in winter for optimal freeze resistance.

Store in original containers, kept sealed, somewhere cool, dry and well ventilated, away from foodstuff containers, oxidising agents, acids, acid chlorides, acid anhydrides and chloroformates. No freeze-protection temperature is published for this product, so we don’t quote one.

If product is ingested, then seek medical advice. Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to use and only proceed when satisfied with the results. Rinse hands after use.
