Vikan windscreen squeegee w/sponge, 545mm Black

Vikan’s 545mm windscreen squeegee with sponge is a two-sided tool for forecourts, wash bays and vehicle workshops. One face is a sponge under an abrasive net, the other a rubber blade: wet, scrub, flip, pull the screen dry.

Features and benefits

• Abrasive-net sponge face. Specified by Vikan for removing insects, so flies lift instead of smearing.
• Rubber blade on the reverse. Clears the water in one pull, so the glass comes up dry rather than smeared.
• Replaceable head, Vikan 473852. Vikan supports the head as a spare part, sold separately, so a worn sponge or blade doesn’t retire the tool.
• pH 6 to 11, and -10°C to 70°C. Vikan’s stated working range, so check your cleaner sits inside it.
• 545mm fixed handle, 0.26kg. Fine on cars and vans. For a truck or bus screen, the 710mm version gives more reach.
• Not for food-contact surfaces. Vikan records this item as outside (EC) 1935/2004, so keep it on vehicles and glass.
