Black nitrile gloves for automotive, valeting, short-term food handling and examination work, sold as 100 single gloves to a box. The Aurelia Absolute 100 runs 3.2 mil at AQL 1.5, latex-free, powder-free and ambidextrous, and it’s certified twice over: Class I medical device under MDR (EU) 2017/745, and Category III PPE under (EU) 2016/425.
Features and benefits
- Graded wall thickness. Minimum 0.10mm at the finger, 0.06mm at the palm, 0.05mm at the cuff, so the glove is thickest where it wears and thinnest where bulk would cost you dexterity.
- Finger-only texturing. Grip on wet or oily parts without a bulky palm.
- Powder-free. No cornstarch to go airborne onto food, work surfaces or wounds.
- EN ISO 374-5 with the VIRUS marking. Passed the bacteria, fungi and viral penetration tests, so nothing passes through an intact glove. It’s a barrier, not an antimicrobial treatment.
- Screen compatible. Answer the phone or work a terminal without doffing.

No natural rubber latex, but the nitrile does contain vulcanisation accelerators. Maxter, the manufacturer, states: “The product does not contain natural rubber latex. Contains accelerators which may cause allergic reactions. Please retain the packaging for reference.” If you’re sensitive to accelerators, buy an accelerator-free glove instead.
EN ISO 374-1:2016 Type B covers splash contact with three tested chemicals only: n-heptane (J), 40% sodium hydroxide (K) and 37% formaldehyde (T). No breakthrough times are published, so these aren’t immersion gloves and they aren’t general chemical protection. There’s no published cut, tear or puncture rating either, so don’t rely on them for mechanical protection, and there’s no heat, flame or electrical protection.
